IQB Student Awarded with F31 Fellowship
IQB student, Erika Snyder, was awarded with the F31 Fellowship. The NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) F31 is a predoctoral fellowship that funds promising PhD candidates to carry out dissertation research in biomedical fields relevant to the NIH's mission. The award covers stipend, tuition, and research costs for up to three years. Erika's F31, funded through NIAID, will support her research on how inhibitory signaling shapes the behavioral response of immune cells called macrophages, providing cell-level insight into large-scale health problems like autoimmunity, infection, and cancer immunotherapies.
